Now, I need to figure out my journal and stuff..Where to put everything and CSS and stuff.

I LOVED CAMP.

-The Cabin-
Anyways, it filled with boys and I had to sleep in a cabin with some obnoxious girls. Some were an acceptation for me but the girls who dropped their pens from the top bunk and made me pick it up for them all the time, who read those awful teen magazines with the "What kind of guy is right for you?" quiz, fashion tips, along with annoying articles on the awful Jonas Brothers. There was one girl whom I chatted most to was this fellow otaku who had brought the Azumanga Daioh Omnibus (I happen to have that as well so we chatted about Azumanga)and this adorable Naruto plushie <3 I showed her my baby Giroro plushie that I brought as well and I gave her the URL to my DA. But one thing I hated was waiting for the shower. We had only one shower and about 10 girls and we know that usually an average chick takes about 25 mins. The hard thing was that I'd get back from the hangout for music practice and the girls were always there before me and I had to wait for my turn and take it last.
-The Music-
The majority of the boys played guitar. There were some bassists but only a few drummers, and one violinist-me. Our music instructor was amazing! He could play trumpet, which he usually played in the morning to wake up the campers, piano, guitar, some violin, and maybe even more! He was easy on me, for the being the oddball.. All of us, 10 garage band campers, LOVED classic rock so it was easy for us in our selection for Friday night's performance for the entire camp. Here's what we played-

As for the encore, we played Play That Funky Music which was used in last year's garage band camp. I didn't know how to play it and I was still high off the crowd's attention and energy, so I grabbed this rainbow colored afro wig and my red John Lennon glasses and started dancing in front of the crowd. It was outrageous!
-The Jokes-
In the way of humor..
Boys>>>>>>>>>>>>Girls.
I swear, those girls take anything seriously. But good GOD, we had some awesome inside jokes here. In honor of them, they inspired our band name- Furious Gage and the Buttered Peaches. I designed an album cover for our CD that featured an angry kid squeezing peaches that are covered in butter while random monkeys that are on speed are drawn here and there. YES, THAT IS AWESOME. Meal time was always joke time, and where we would stand up at our table and clap and cheer at unnecessary times as other camps just stared at us in disbelief and disgust. Watching movies with them was just as glorious, with their loud, smart allec commentary as we watched corny kid's movies. The boys would usually read passages from this book about Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue before they went to bed at their cabin and then would quote them at random times. We had fun making fun of the terrible camp sing-along-songs. There was one that was in the tune of We Will Rock You but before they started to sing the camp version, I belted out the good old "BUDDY, YOUR A BOY, MAKIN' BIG NOISE, PLAYIN' IN THE STREET, GUNNA BE A BIG MAN SOMEDAY!!!" and then they sang along with me, forgetting to sing the crappy camp spoof of the song. One little kid turned to look at me in fear just as I screamed the almighty "SING IIT!" part.
-The Love-
Didn't feel it for anyone, didn't care about it. I was there for music, not for make-outs. I gave some hugs. One kid named Dean felt down one time and he was sitting out on the bench alone so I decided to sit by him for a bit and I gave him a hug. Felt bad for the poor guy. Somehow it reminded me of one scene from Little Miss Sunshine when the little girl comforted her emo kid brother. We were like a family. A dysfunctional, loud, outrageous family. We all had our share of crazy problems.
-The Wrap-Up-
It was the melting pot of talents for all of us. We all did our part in helping our Friday concert to make it our best. All of us delieverd, entertained, and provided, which are the most important ingredients for a show. It was just incredible and this week has been remarkable.

Whelp~, I couldn't manage to find myself a rape whistle or a chasitiy belt before a go to this camp..

So, it's been stressful too, packing my stuff and I think I'm good for a whole week. I'll be back, I think, next Saturday. I'm leaving tommarow morning and I'm going to miss you all..;___;
